Microsorum pteropus

Info

The most popular fern specie in aquatics is probably Microsorum pteropus. The Asian fern is widespread and is considered very variable with different growth sizes and leaf shapes. As a typical rhizome plant, root timber or stone material is optimal for it as substrate. Our Microsorum covered mangrove roots are best suited for the beginners in aquaristics: Easy to handle when setting up the aquarium, as well as having a strong, natural effect. Microsorum is undemanding in care and grows well even in the shadiest areas.
