Planted root wood with suction cups are specially designed for attachment to the aquarium glass. The roots protrude directly into the underwater landscape, creating a very special look. Especially in smaller aquariums, the woods look like dead tree trunks protruding into the aquatic world. Like the popular Anubias, Microsorum pteropus also grows excellently on the root wood. To limit the size growth somewhat, larger leaves can be cut out at irregular intervals. Complete pruning is also possible - but it takes a little longer for the plant to regain a bushy habit.
