Mayaca fluviatilis

Info

The moss herb is a very delicate plant from North and South America.  Their fine, needle-like leaflets stand in close succession on the stem and give the plant an almost moss-like appearance.  Mayaca prefers softer water and good lighting.  It is best to place the very thin stems in a somewhat fine-grained substrate with tweezers.  Mayaca is a typical "calm" plant for the middle to background sections. Striking plants with a distinctive shape or color come into their own in combination with Mayaca.
