Like the moss root, the moss stone offers a good possibility to create a natural underwater landscape. The structure-rich and porous lava stones favor the growth of moss cushions. However, mosses do not have roots like most aquarium plants, but multicellular root-replacing hair formations, also called rhizoids. Depending on the condition of the substrate, mosses can hold on more or less well and continue to grow.Tip: As with almost all mosses, timely pruning is beneficial to create compact plant pads.Dennerle Plants moss stones are very suitable for nano aquariums due to their size, but also for other aquarium sizes.
