In the tropical climate of our greenhouses, particularly strong plants are lovingly cared for and cultivated over several months until they have grown to XXL size. For the establishment and design of larger aquariums, these "solitaires" are ideally suited and give the impression of a lush landscape right from the start.
The Java fern Microsorum pteropus has been one of the most popular plants in aquatics for decades. As a perching plant, this ancient fern grows optimally on root wood and on stones. Due to its low growth rate, Microsorum pteropus in XXL size, is ideal for the new setup of larger aquariums in which it immediately gives the impression of an overgrown landscape. This solitary plant is also recommended as a supplement in an existing underwater landscape.
