Schismatoglottis roseaspatha is an attractive arum from Borneo. This species can be found on the stream banks in splash water areas as well as growing submerged on rocks. They form compact cushions with very, small leaf blades there. This beauty reahes a maximum height of 8 cm in the aquarium. The strongly, wavy leaf margins and the silvery slits (stomata) on the upper side of the leaf are really eye-catching features. The species prefers rather soft and agitated water. This novelty is an enrichment for the plant enthusiasts, when it's planted in coarse grained subtrate or tied up on stone or wood.
