Microsorum pteropus 'Trident'

Info

Spiderwood, or red bog root, has now become a real classic in aquatics. The many-branched and filigree root pieces originate from rhododendron plants from Asia. In contrast to mangrove wood, they do not stain the water - but are originally very light. However, our roots are pre-watered and usually sink quickly.
The filigree leaf structure of the variety 'Trident' looks very harmonious in combination with the finely branched Spiderwood roots. Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' grows rather slowly and, like the main form, is very easy to care for and undemanding.
