The East African Ammannia pedicellata is a fast-growing stem plant for the mid to background. Especially attractive is the variety 'Golden' with bright, golden-yellow leaves and with contrasting red stems. Strong lighting and higher CO2 levels promote a magnificent growth. When inserting the stems, a distance of approx. 5cm should be chosen - so the lower leaves still get enough light. Ammannia pedicellata 'Golden' is suitable as a colorful highlight in combination with dark green and red plants.
