Sharon Schadt
The always cheerful Sharon was born and raised in the Netherlands. However, her family roots are easy to recognize, as her parents come from the two great Sunda islands of Sumatra and Java in Indonesia, the largest island nation in the world. Cooking is one of Sharon's great passions, so it's no surprise that Indonesian classics like nasi goreng and rendang are among her favorite dishes. Rendang was even named the world's tastiest dish by CNN International in 2011. There is no scientific evidence that this curry-like dish with ingredients such as spicy stewed beef, coconut milk, ginger, chili pepper, lemongrass and more contributes to her positive attitude and good humor.
