The beautiful Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata is native to Central America and is one of the most colorful stem plants. The emerse growth form is very compact and pure green. In optimal conditions the plant in the submerged form is a "firework" in the aquarium. In order to admire this, some parameters are necessary such as soft water, a balanced diet, as well as a high amount of CO2. With an Intense lighting it produces beautiful shades of orange-red to violet-red.
